Exhibition: The Girls of Room 28

March 2018

We - Karen Zolko, Dodi Chansky, directors of Room 28 Projects -  Brasil and creators of the exhibition As Meninas do Quarto 28 in Brazil (2014) and me, Hannelore Brenner, author of the exhibition and the book The Girls of Room 28 and director of Ro0m 28 Projects (2004) - want to bring a synthesis of our exhibitions in a new English version to the United States and/or to wherever interest arises.

The drawings on the banister were made to adapt the exhibition to the specific architecture of the Galeria Janete Costa in Recife

English pannels


For English speaking visitors the panels of the original version are part of the Brazilian exhibition.


The architectural design of the exhibition changes, according to space and possibilities. There are always new items or elements we add.


Once we get someone interested in the USA or elsewhere we will create an English version of the exhibition and print the panels anew. The original panels as created in Germany are part of the exhibition. See Original version
